About

I'm a photographer and programmer living in Belper, just outside the Peak District National Park in England. I share my home with my wife Caroline and our two pets, Millie the cat and Megan the dog.

I specialise in wedding and portrait photography with the winter months spent working on landscape and stock images. As well as private work for couples and individuals, I've supplied photographs for use in books and magazines, including front covers. My images has also been used for advertising, by the NHS, various Universities and other educational departments.

In a past life I worked as a commercial games programmer and this has evolved into online development. I undertake assignments as a website designer in Flash, CSS/HTML, PHP, JavaScript and MySQL. The projects are mainly in the fields of edutainment, e-learning and distance learning with clients including Derby and Nottingham Universities alongside various commercial clients.

I'm fortunate that photography and web development both allow me to use an Apple Mac. I've chosen to do so since 2005 and after a past life developing code on Windows PCs, working through many iterations of DOS and Windows, I've personally found moving over to be an enjoyable experience.
